Application of the system: This set comes with two units (1) Base and (1) Subbase base unit. Base gets connected to your land line with the 50 Ft wire long special antenna. The Subbase unit has to be connected to same way. The remote locations can be such an Island, mines, jungles, mountain, farms, isolated communities, country-site, car etc.
This Subbase unit has a telepone jack that you can connect basically what ever you are able to connect to your home telephone land line telephone jack. Like cordless phone system, fax machine, telephone, answering machine, and dialup internet connection. This dialup mean your computer dials the number to get online internet server, I hope I making this clear! Because this telephone system will not work with DSL high speed internet connection. Also the Subbase Unit doesnt come with small hand held cordless phone. As I said, it gives you the dial tone of your home line so you can use it as a landline.
Some people buys these units and install them nearest telephone pole they make a little box put on top a 10 watt of solar panel and a 12 volt battery that provides power for the Base Unit, where they can have a telephone land line connection to remote location.
Some times you cant get a cell phone connection. This set its a good telephone system that can be used for remote location. You own the system therefore you dont have to pay a monthly bill to anyone. Other then just a basic land line cost.
Or if you have a friendly neighbor few miles close by to your place and they will be kind enough to let you install your Base unit close by theyre house and order your phone line service, this will be even better. You can power the Base unit directly from their power lines...
If the Base and the Subbase antenna will be visible to each other, you can have a connection up to 80 miles away. If the not say you have heavy wooded area or a buildings etc. this communication will be limited to as low as 10 to 15 miles.
